Moving from Conductor?
Keep your threads.

Bring your local Claude Code and Codex conversations into Hoplite with the CLI.

Conductor saves those conversations in the standard Claude Code and Codex folders on your Mac. Run hoplite onboard on that same Mac to find and import the threads you choose.

1. Sign up for Hoplite

Create your account, or log in if you already have one. You’ll return here after signing in.

2. Install the CLI

On the Mac where you use Conductor, run this in your terminal:

Terminal
curl -fsSL https://hoplite.sh/install.sh | sh -s -- --install-dir "$HOME/.local/bin"

3. Import your local threads

The CLI scans your local Claude Code and Codex folders. Pick the repositories and conversations you want to bring into Hoplite.

Terminal
"$HOME/.local/bin/hoplite" onboard

What comes with you

  • Past threads from Claude Code and Codex
  • Personal skills
  • MCP servers

Add setup scripts and secrets in Hoplite. MCP servers that need credentials may need reconnecting.

Why Hoplite

  • Agents run in the cloud for days, even with your laptop closed.
  • Multiplayer threads let you and your teammates work with the same agent.
  • Works with your Claude or ChatGPT subscription.

A few quick answers

Do I lose my code?
No. Your code stays in GitHub. Commit and push any local changes before moving.
What about Conductor Cloud chats?
Conductor Cloud chats are separate from the local threads the CLI imports. Cloud goes read-only on November 13, 2026 and shuts down on November 20. Export your chats before November 20, following Conductor’s announcement.
