About Hoplite

Hoplite is a cloud coding-agent platform built for software teams that want useful engineering work completed in parallel without giving up visibility, verification, or control. Carbon Copy Markets Inc. operates Hoplite from the United States.

What we build

A Hoplite thread gives an agent an isolated development workspace tied to a repository. The agent can read and edit code, run the repository's own tests, use connected tools, inspect a managed web preview, and return a reviewable diff or pull request. The conversation and workspace remain durable so a teammate can continue the same job after feedback instead of rebuilding context from the beginning.

How we work

We design Hoplite around agent autonomy backed by a strong engineering harness. Agents should be able to gather evidence, make coherent changes, validate their own work, and use approved integrations directly. Sensitive mutations keep explicit policy and approval boundaries, while routine development work should not stop for unnecessary manual steps.

Product claims should be visible in the production path and proven at the right boundary. That means durable state, clear failures, acceptance-style coverage for critical workflows, and fresh browser evidence for user-facing changes. Our goal is software work that a reviewer can understand and trust, rather than activity that merely looks busy.
